The full-day English webinar will take place on 6 February 2024 and will present project results from NEMO and the LIFE Asphalt project related to road noise pollution. Both projects share various similarities with LENS in terms of on-street measuring and pilot locations. We invite you to register by clicking the button below.

The European Commission in the Zero Pollution Action Plan called for a 30% reduction in the number of people chronically disturbed by transport noise. A key pillar to achieve this reduction is the large use of quiet road surfaces.

The Commission is therefore promoting a webinar to explain to local authorities, in simple and practical terms, what the possibilities are to use low-noise road surfaces, thanks to several past EU-funded projects and solutions engineered.

These projects aimed to develop and use, in a real context and by local authorities, new and innovative products and solutions. The webinar will now present the concrete results and explain how local authorities can immediately benefit from these technologies, including explaining how durable, reliable and feasible they are.
